Get Hooked on Education at the 1 st Annual Pascagoula Rotary Club Fishing Rodeo!

The Pascagoula Rotary Club is pleased to announce its 1 st Annual Fishing Rodeo to be held at The Point on Beach Boulevard in Pascagoula on June 4 th and 5 th. Tickets will go on sale May 1 st at various locations throughout Jackson County. This captain’s choice Rodeo will utilize the incredible diversity of fisheries that Jackson County has to offer as there will be both Saltwater and Freshwater categories with a range of over 30 different eligible species. The official starting time of the PRC Fishing Rodeo is 5:00 AM on Friday, June 4 th, and the scales will close at 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 5 th (any boat in line at 7:00 PM will be allowed to weigh in). The PRC Fishing Rodeo awards ceremony will follow weigh-in at 7:30 PM on Saturday.

Charles Busby, President of the Pascagoula Rotary Club, says, “ Pascagoula is blessed with unbelievable access to some of the finest fishing grounds in the world. We think the PRC Fishing Rodeo can really leverage that and make this a first-class event for anglers. Ultimately it will allow us to live up to our “Service Above Self” motto by raising the much needed scholarship funds that our club distributes each year.”
